In his infinite wisdom, in which the creative order and design for mankind could exist in any other combination, God chose this one: that men and women constitute the two concrete biological realities, that these are to be correlated with their identities, and that all of this is both right and good.

Transhumanism is a violent departure from the idea that man was created in God’s image in Genesis 1:26, instead seeking to make ourselves gods after our own image.

God doesn’t differentiate faithfulness by what is sparkly, fancy, easy, or even hard. Faithfulness is just doing what he asks us to do (not what he asks someone else to do).

I will often ask individuals, “Who must we convince of the existence of God?” The biblical answer is no one.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding us, whether they are health related or political, God’s mission to reach the world and save souls never changes. We are a part of that mission, therefore our main goals and objectives in ministry stay the same, even in uncertain times.

But ultimately God used my failures to produce a healthy respect in me for what I didn’t yet know, and he gave me an even greater desire to learn from those who did. This is the blessing of learning from the experience of others, or, as we might call it, gaining wisdom.

For the believer today, spiritual warfare is as real and intense as combat on the battlefield was for David in the Old Testament. Therefore, like David, the believer must learn how to properly war and fight. The inability to do so ensures a defeated spiritual walk.

Christian, please don’t let the devil win in your life by distracting you from the real mission of winning souls. Don’t lower yourself and abandon your high calling just so you can fight for an earthly kingdom. Our true, eternal citizenship is in heaven.

As a father, it is my responsibility to properly teach and inform my children, not my culture or the media. If I entrust my culture, Fox News, CNN, or Facebook with informing my children, I will have failed both them and my stewardship before God.

I could point to a lot of things we seem to share in common with groups like the LDS, but with all of them we have to ask: is it common truth or just common terms?

There will come a time in every parent’s life when you will not be able to control what your children do. They will make their own decisions. They may make decisions that go against what you have taught them. At this point, you must trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Although Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, we can have real, meaningful fellowship with Him — spirit, soul, and body — because He replaced all three parts of Himself.

It is legitimately strange (as in not common) for someone today to be truly interested in Christ. Not religion, not companionship, not understanding the universe, but Christ. That is the most beautiful kind of strange that exists, and I live to find these people.

If the mission of the church is to make disciples, the discipleship team within the church cannot afford failed stewardship in overseeing the discipleship ministry. It would most certainly cripple the church for years to come.

Jesus gave us a Great Commission, but Satan offers a grand strategy to strip the saints from each other so it is never accomplished.

What is far more vitally essential than denominational labeling is the core doctrine of the need for man to be born again by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the authority of the plain words of the living God in our Bible.

I can't help but think that the world would give anything to see people from all walks of life live together in genuine love, unity, and peace. This is what Christ has given us, and it is so very precious.

The future of our churches is solely dependent on biblical discipleship at all levels. Our children need to know both the Lord and His works, and it’s our responsibility to show them what He’s doing.
